Ken grew up in Southland, graduated from Otago University in 1970 and practised in Invercargill before joining White Fox & Jones in 1974. He became a partner the following year.

His areas of practice are commercial and rural property, finance and securities, business and commercial transactions, trust and estate planning. Ken's special interest and experience is in property developments and services to entrepreneurial clients.

Ken enjoys watching sports especially rugby and keeps fit by swimming, fishing and playing golf. He also takes an active interest in politics and current affairs. Ken has four adult children and ten grandchildren.


Hugh became a partner in the firm in 1985. As well as his commercial practice his work includes a broad civil advocacy/litigation practice that includes cases in most court jurisdictions and many other statutory bodies and tribunals. Hugh has particular experience in general commercial and property litigation, professional indemnity claims, employment law and company/corporate litigation.

Hugh's interests include a wide range of outdoor activities especially skiing. He is married with three sons.


James practised as a solicitor at White Fox & Jones in 1986 and 1987 before heading overseas. On his return he worked in Wellington before rejoining White Fox & Jones in 1992. He became a partner in 1993. James' main areas of practice include commercial property, commercial and business transactions, leases,securities and trusts.

Outside business hours James enjoys all outdoor sports and spending time with his family of four children.


Hugo joined White Fox & Jones in 2000, becoming a partner in 2002. He has expertise and interest in commercial property transactions, leases, securities, trusts and general commercial and business transactions.

Hugo spent time overseas and worked in a number of different roles before following his father into law. Hugo is interested in skiing, golf, biking and tennis.  Hugo is married with 2 daughters.


Geoff spent his early years in the Taieri District, inland from Dunedin. He completed his law degree at Otago University in 1978. After three years working at a law firm in Gore, Geoff and his family moved to Ashburton in 1982.

Geoff was in partnership in Ashburton until 1997 when he set up his own legal practice.  He merged his practice with the Ashburton Branch of White Fox and Jones in December 2010.

Geoff is a general law practitioner with  particular expertise in residential and rural property transactions and family law.

Geoff and his wife Jenny have four adult children and were foster parents for a number of years.

He is an avid golfer and follower of many sports.


Glen joined White Fox & Jones in 2013, becoming a partner in April 2014.  Glen has worked for an international law firm in Sydney as well a national firm based in Christchurch.  He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2002.

Glen is an experienced civil and commercial litigator who has appeared as counsel in a variety of Court jurisdictions, as well as regularly representing clients at mediations and settlement conferences. He has broad litigation experience, but has particular interest and expertise in contract and commercial disputes, insolvency, insurance, and property litigation.

Outside of work Glen enjoys spending time with his family of four young children, as well as being a keen musician.

STUART STOCK

Stuart joined White Fox & Jones in September 2012 after spending the previous six years as a partner of a boutique commercial property firm in London. He became a partner in July 2017.

Raised and educated in Wellington, Stuart has broad experience in business and general commercial transactions and specialises in commercial property and insurance matters.

Stuart and wife Penny have three young children who enthusiastically occupy his spare time.  He does however manage to play the odd game of rugby and spend a bit of time out on the water fishing.

MARK ORMAN

Mark joined White Fox & Jones in January 2017 and became a partner in July 2017.  He was admitted as a solicitor in 1998 and has previously worked at national law firms in Auckland and Christchurch.  Mark also spent a long period overseas, working for international law firms in London, Abu Dhabi and Melbourne.

Mark is a senior commercial lawyer, specialising in property, with particular expertise in commercial development, buying and selling assets, leasing and property finance.  He is experienced in acting for businesses of all sizes, property developers, investors, landlords, tenants, syndicators, banks and Councils.

He was pleased to be recognised recently in the real estate lawyer recommendations in Legal 500’s Asia Pacific Guide for 2017.

Mark enjoys the Canterbury lifestyle with his wife Jane, two children and their golden retriever.

 


John practised in Methven for ten years before joining White Fox and Jones as a partner in 1987.

John’s areas of practice and interest are residential and farm conveyancing, family trusts, wills and estates. 

John is a keen golfer and is married with two adult sons.

JACQUI LOWE

Jacqui joined White Fox& Jones in 1973 as a student, becoming a partner in 1980. In December 2010 after 30 years as a partner she became a consultant with the firm. Her main areas of practice are taxation and GST, commercial property syndication, investment, securities and property development, estate planning and general property matters. She is experienced in helping clients structure their businesses and private investments.

Jacqui is married with an adult son. She enjoys watching most outdoor sports and plays the occasional game of golf .

JOHN CRAW

John works part time, usually Tuesdays, Wednesdays,  and Fridays. The rest of the week he spends on his beef cattle farms in Port Levy and Pigeon Bay.

John has practiced both in NZ and Australia and has considerable experience in all types of Commercial Law including property.

John is married to Sally and has a baby girl and three stepchildren.  He is interested in most sports especially golf and tennis.  He is an active member of the Charteris Bay Golf Club.

LAURAINE FRAMPTON

Born and educated in Christchurch Lauraine has both a Commerce degree and a Law degree from Canterbury University and began her professional career in Sales & Marketing, spending 10 years with Telecom.  She first practiced law in provincial Canterbury for two years before joining White Fox and Jones in 2007.

Lauraine works on a wide variety of property and commercial law.

Lauraine prides herself on being readily available and quick to discern clients’ needs in any given situation.  She has a “can do” attitude when complications arise and enjoys the challenge of getting things sorted in an efficient and timely manner in order to cater to her clients’ needs.

Outside the office Lauraine enjoys cycling, walking, yoga, occasional skiing, supporting every ‘red & black’ sports team, and she recently started to learn to play golf.

Kylie was admitted to the bar in 2005.  She worked for 3 other law firms in Wellington and Christchurch before joining White Fox & Jones in March 2015. She works mainly in civil litigation.

Kylie is married with two young boys.

Bevan has a large general practice based in our Ashburton office. He has worked for over forty years in both public and private practice.

A keen gardener and sports fan, Bevan is a panellist on the Judicial Control Authority for Racing.

He is married with two adult children.

MATT MARSHALL

Born and raised in Ashburton Matt studied at the University of Otago receiving degrees in Law and Commerce.  After being admitted to the bar in 2009 Matt has worked at firms in Blenheim and Ashburton before joining White Fox & Jones in May 2016. 

Matt works on a broad range of private client matters including property and business sales and purchases. 

Outside of work Matt is a keen cyclist who enjoys participating in and watching a variety of sports.

Andrew joined the Ashburton branch of White Fox & Jones in May 2017 after spending 7 years at a Christchurch firm.  Originally from Invercargill Andrew was educated at the University of Canterbury.  During his time there he obtained a law degree and a Bachelor of Arts in History.

As a general practitioner, Andrew has experience in a diverse range of legal matters.   He believes in providing clients with practical advice in order to resolve any issue they may be facing or to achieve a goal that they may have.

Andrew is married with two children.  His spare time is mostly filled with family activities, but he is also a keen follower of a range of sports.

Robin joined the firm in November 2016 working in the area of civil litigation after several years at another Christchurch firm.

Born and bred in England, Robin worked in the health sector for many years before becoming a lawyer.

He is still a staunch Lions supporter.

Sam joined White Fox & Jones in July 2016. He has degrees in both Law and Psychology from Otago University. Sam has grown up throughout New Zealand but has spent most of his time in Christchurch which he considers home. 

Sam works on a broad range of property and commercial law. He strives to provide efficient and personalised advice while building meaningful client relationships. 

Away from work Sam spends time training and competing in long distance triathlons.

Pam has a background in accountancy but has spent the last 24years in managerial roles, the last fifteen with White Fox & Jones.

Pam is a member of the Christchurch Legal Managers Group and a member of the New Zealand Committee of the Australasian Legal Practice Managers Association.

Pam has three adult children, is a member of  Sweet Adelines International and is an enthusiastic cook, gardener and recreational cyclist.
